CCDBT continues to work to provide psychotherapy services in an ever changing landscape. We know that the fluctuations in the pandemic data, trends, and numbers are confusing and unsettling, and we are working to provide stable programming in an unstable time. At present, CCDBT is providing both in person and virtual (Zoom) individual psychotherapy sessions and evaluation appointments. To ensure the best chance for safe health for our staff and our clients, proof of vaccination is required to participate via in-person appointments.
DBT Skills Groups, due to the group nature of the format and the small size of our group therapy suite, will continue to be offered in a virtual format at this time. We have been heartened by the positive feedback that participants have found that these DBT Skills Groups have been productive for teaching and collaborating via a Zoom format, while we will also monitor health trends and health department guidelines for a future time when these skills groups will return in-person to our CCDBT group suite.
We are grateful for the collaborative efforts of our clients, their families, and our mental health and school colleagues who have worked to ensure that mental health is prioritized at a time when it is needed so dearly. Thank you and we look forward to future collaborative efforts.
