Zoom
In these uncertain times, your mental and physical health needs are our priority. During the COVID19 pandemic, CCDBT continues to provide clinical services by video conferencing using a state-of-the-art HIPAA compliant platform. We have partnered with Zoom Video Conferencing to be able to offer individual and group therapy online in modalities that are safe for clients and for the community. We also have full capacity to offer intake appointments with new clients.
In person sessions are being held at the CCDBT office in Lake Success, based upon mutual considerations between clients and therapists. Only fully vaccinated (i.e., two weeks past second dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or two weeks past the single Johnson and Johnson vaccine) individuals are eligible to come for in person sessions. Family members and non-essential visitors are required to stay home to keep our waiting area seating minimal.
Please read the following web pages detailing the plan for leading CCDBT DBT Skills Groups and holding individual psychotherapy sessions via Zoom Video Conferencing. These Video Conferencing sessions and DBT Skills Groups will be held during the COVID-19 pandemic while restrictions are in place regarding the holding of group activities.
We hope to reassure all potential new clients, who may be seeking immediate care during these anxious and uncertain times, that we will be able to continue with the assessment of your needs and the determination of your treatment plan. Please do not hesitate to call our contact numbers and you will be contacted to set up your Zoom Initial Appointment.
Please start with the Zoom Letter to learn about the CCDBT Plan. To learn how to use Zoom, then read Zoom Instructions. If you are using a computer, the instructions will be on that webpage.
