Dr. Clements received her doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Clements has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. She has experience treating a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, oppositional behavior-related disorders, suicidality, and self-injury. She has received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as various Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatments, including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for PTSD, Prolonged Exposure (PE), exposure therapy for OCD and anxiety disorders, and Parent Management Training (PMT) for childhood behavior problems. Dr. Clements currently provides individual CBT and DBT treatment and co-leads skills groups for adolescents and adults at the Lake Success and Manhattan CCDBT offices.
