Dr. Day received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maine, where she completed training in both clinical and developmental psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in Inglewood, CA. She has trained extensively in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and has provided services to teens, emerging adults, and adults. Dr. Day has worked in a wide range of settings including community mental health, juvenile forensic services, and group private practice. She currently provides individual DBT and CBT, and co-leads DBT skills groups for adolescents and adults at the Lake Success CCDBT office.
