Dr. Proujansky received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2016 from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West (formerly Mount Sinai Roosevelt) in New York, NY. Dr. Proujansky has received extensive training in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive compulsive disorder. She has completed intensive training in DBT offered by Behavioral Tech, LLC. Dr. Proujansky has worked with individuals, families, and couples across the lifespan in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential treatment, mental health clinics, and hospitals. She has also provided CBT targeting anxiety, depression, and HIV-risk behaviors in young gay and bisexual men as part of an NIMH-funded research study. She currently provides individual DBT and CBT and co-leads DBT skills groups for adolescents and adults at the Lake Success office.
